Pausing your tracking should also pause your PaddlePLAN® route

When I am following a PaddlePLAN, and I decide to stop and perhaps grab a coffee or have something to eat, I pause the activity. However, the app continues to track my location and reports that I am OFF COURSE.

Pausing the paddle activity should also pause any tracking, course checking, or waypoint skipping behaviours.

    When designing PaddlePLAN® as a new and unique safety feature for paddlers, we purposefully decided to leave the waypoint checker running while the app was paused. For example, as an alert if somebody pauses their tracking to take some scenic photos and the wind blows them off course without realising.

    However, we appreciate your request to change this and we will continue monitoring it.
